The Iron Circle is a faith-based peer support ministry for anyone who needs a safe place to be heard, encouraged, prayed with, and reminded that they do not have to carry life alone.
You do not have to wait until you are at your breaking point to reach out. You do not have to have the right words, clean up the story, or decide whether what you are facing is “serious enough.”
No issue is too big or too small for The Iron Circle.
From trauma, grief, fear, addiction, family struggles, doubt, and difficult decisions—to guilt, temptation, confession, mistakes, or something that may seem small to everyone else—you are welcome to bring it here.
We will not rank your pain.
We will not compare your struggle to someone else’s.
We will not decide that one failure deserves more grace than another.
Before God, none of us stands above another. We all need grace, forgiveness, wisdom, and people willing to walk beside us. Just as we do not believe one person is more worthy of grace than another, The Iron Circle will not treat one struggle as more worthy of compassion than another.
Whatever you bring into the Circle, our goal is not to shame you, condemn you, lecture you, or make you feel smaller for asking for help. We are here to listen, pray with you, speak truth with love, offer godly perspective when it is welcomed, and stand beside you while you take the next step.
Sometimes strength does not begin with having the answer.
Sometimes it begins with simply saying:
“I need someone.”
What you share will be treated with care, dignity, respect, and discretion. The Iron Circle is not professional counseling or an emergency crisis service. It is something simpler and deeply important:
People willing to show up for people.
“As iron sharpens iron, so a friend sharpens a friend.” — Proverbs 27:17 (NLT)
You do not need a perfect explanation or a major crisis. Simply tell us that you need The Iron Circle. No issue is too big or too small.
Available members will come alongside you in a private, respectful setting. The Iron Circle is open to both men and women, and we will use good judgment about who is included in each conversation.
You will be given room to talk without being interrupted, judged, compared to someone else, or made to feel ashamed. Sometimes people need advice. Sometimes they need prayer. Sometimes they simply need someone willing to listen.
When appropriate, members may offer encouragement, personal experience, biblical perspective, prayer, or practical next steps. We are not there to control your decisions or tell you how to live your life. We are there to help you see clearly and remind you that you are not alone.
Some situations may be helped through one conversation. Others take time. When appropriate, The Iron Circle can check back in, continue praying with you, and help connect you with additional support when something requires more than peer ministry can provide.
Your story is not entertainment, gossip, or something to be repeated casually. We protect one another's dignity and privacy.
There may be rare situations involving immediate danger, threats of serious harm, abuse, or legal obligations where additional help must be contacted. We will never promise secrecy when someone's safety is at risk.
There is no competition over who hurts more.
Trauma. Grief. Marriage problems. Addiction. Temptation. Fear. Anger. Doubt. Confession. Regret. Loneliness. A difficult decision. Something you cannot even explain.
Everything may be brought to the Circle.
We will not decide that one person's struggle deserves compassion while another person's does not.
The Iron Circle is not a courtroom.
We can speak honestly about right and wrong without humiliating the person sitting in front of us. Truth and grace belong together.
Members of the Circle do not enter a conversation simply waiting for their turn to give advice.
We listen.
We ask questions.
We seek to understand.
Then, when appropriate, we speak.
Support does not mean telling someone whatever they want to hear.
If loving someone means respectfully challenging them, we will do so—but never to embarrass, dominate, or condemn them.
The Iron Circle is rooted in Christian faith and biblical principles. Prayer and Scripture may be part of the conversation, but people will be treated with dignity wherever they are in their walk with God.
Calling on The Iron Circle does not mean you failed.
Sometimes wisdom is recognizing:
“I should not carry this by myself.”
The Iron Circle provides faith-based peer support. We are not a replacement for licensed mental-health professionals, medical care, legal counsel, addiction treatment, or emergency services.
The Iron Circle provides faith-based peer support, but we are not an emergency service, crisis hotline, or substitute for professional mental-health or medical care.
If you or someone else is in immediate danger, call 911 or go to the nearest emergency department. If you are experiencing suicidal thoughts, severe emotional distress, a mental-health crisis, or simply need immediate crisis support, call or text 988 to reach the Suicide & Crisis Lifeline. The 988 Lifeline is available 24/7 and provides free, confidential support. Spanish support is also available by calling 988 and pressing 2, or texting AYUDA to 988.
The Iron Circle is here to walk beside you—but when immediate safety is at risk, please contact trained emergency or crisis professionals first.
